Experience of IITB-FDP on “Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning”,

Hi all,

It is my pleasure to share my experience on Four Week AICTE approved FDP by IIT Bombay on “Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning”.

Revised Bloom’s taxonomy –

I am working as Assistant professor from 2014. In our college we are following Blooms taxonomy and some learning patterns like CDIO, CBSS. But many faculties are not clear about the concepts of it. But after attending this workshop along with all other institution faculties and our senior members now i can able to predict what is what. This blooms taxonomy session is so much useful to learnt alot.

Some of the activities/hands on training did during this FDP are as follows

Flipped classroom –

In our institution some of the courses I am following sandbox technique. But I doesn’t aware about flipped classroom.  But after this workshop I learnt alot about “Inside classroom activities and outside classroom activities and how to create videos and implement effectively?”.

Assessment Patterns-

Before this workshop ,assessments are just like assignment for giving marks to students for their internals. But during this workshop I came to know the importance of Assessing students as a facilitator not as a teacher. for that TPS activity, Quiz, Peer learning are to used.

Moodle –

A good forum to manage the large classroom. I have learned and I am so curious in implement in my current semester.
